On the off-season pick-ups
I like them but you know, it’s kind of a bummer also at the same time. Especially the ‘Sheed pick-up – oh all of a sudden we’re totally cool with big guys shooting threes? Really? I remember when a certain high-sock wearing once-smiley fellow did it, he was basically run out of town on a pole! Or whatever the expression may be.
On talks of a comeback
You know, just waiting for the ol’ phone to ring. Feeling like a homely girl on Friday night, but, you know, just waiting for it to ring! Ha ha ha! Yeah. You heard anything?
On his summer
You don’t read the Globe, man? It was terrible. How the hell did I spend $110 million that fast? On an unrelated note, do you need any gold toilets? How about gold toothbrushes? Gold goldfish?
